B.A.S.S. 2015 Bassmaster Classic & FLW Lake Toho.

Well the Bassmaster Classic has come and gone. What a great Classic it was. The winner was hometoen hero Casey Ashely. I had a feeling he was going to win it. This guy literally grew up on Lake Hartwell. He knew where all the bass were and fished all 3 days pretty damn well. I was actualling cheering for Mike Iaconelli as I am a big fan of his but he finished in the top 10. I am happy and proud for Ike.

The Classic was honestly very exciting this year. This was the first time B.A.S.S. had live cameras on the boats for a few of the top anglers. I was literally watching some of the best in the world fish in real time action. We were able to see how the best in the world went after the fish. What they threw for bait, where they fished and what techniques they were using. Pretty cool. I am hoping B.A.S.S. has more live cameras at other events.

Here is a great artical about the Classic winner Casey Ashely: http://www.bassmaster.com/news/title-wont-take-country-boy-out-ashley

The 2016 Bassmaster Classic will move to March next year instead of February. I am one that likes this. The weather will hopefully be better for the anglers and the overall event. The Classic returns to Tulsa, Okla., and Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees. Here is more info on the event next year: http://www.bassmaster.com/news/2016-bassmaster-classic-set-tulsa

The B.A.S.S. #1 Central Open is going on right now. I will be having updates through twitter but here is more info if you are interested: http://www.bassmaster.com/tournaments/2015-bass-pro-shops-central-open-1

Over in the FLW the First tour event happened in Florida on Toho. http://www.flwfishing.com/news/2015-03-11-lake-toho-storylines Check the website out for all the news and stories about the Toho event. JT Kennedy was the big winner and fished great. Check out http://www.flwfishing.com/news/2015-03-08-kenney-connects-the-dots for the whole story.

Well this was my first post on the new blog. I hope you enjoyed it. I will have much more coming in thenew few weeks and months. I would love some feedback and thoughts on other ideas for this blog. I really want to get into local fishing around my area which is MA & NH. I will be fishing with a few bass fishing clubs this year. I am very excited about that. (Need the damn ice to thaw first)

Till next time...Think Spring and Tight Lines.
